Fritz Henle (1909-1993) was born in Germany and traveled the world shooting photographs of every subject and style, from architecture to nudes. His nickname was "Rollei" for his love of the Rolleiflex camera. His career spanned 60 years and his photographs have been published in nineteen books and featured in Life Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Mademoiselle, Town & Country, and the Sunday New York Times. Henle was described by the late photo historian Helmut Gernsheim as the last of the great classical photographers.
