Chorus Line, Paris, c. 1925
This 1920s photograph was likely taken at the legendary Folies Bergère in Paris. Performances at the Folies featured elaborate stage revues with extravagant costumes, sets, and effects. The spectacular shows of the Folies inspired the Ziegfeld Follies in New York. On the back of this wonderful image is the name ‘Blanche Lewis.’
