In these two photographs, art students at Cooper Union pose in front of their sculptures. One group with female statues and the other with male. New York’s Cooper Union was founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859 and its School of Art is celebrated for fostering an environment of innovation and creativity.
